The National Championships and Regional tournament events are held in the following sports:

Badminton

The Badminton competition consists of:

  • Mens Singles
  • Mens Doubles
  • Womens Singles
  • Womens Doubles
  • Mixed Doubles

 

This BCS National Championships event tends to start on the Friday afternoon and finish on the Sunday however this may vary depending on the number of entries and courts available.  

 

 

 

Basketball

The Basketball competition consists of:

  • Mens College Team
  • Womens College Team

 

This BCS National Championships event tends to start on the Saturday and finish on the Sunday however this may vary depending on the number of entries and courts available.  

 

 

 

Cross Country

The Cross Country competition consists of:

  • Regional Team of 8 Men (of whom 6 shall count for a result and regional points)
  • Regional Team of 8 Women (of whom 6 shall count for a result and regional points)

 

This BCS National Championships event runs on the Saturday with the course being walked in the morning and the race run shortly after, however this may vary depending on the venue available.  

 

 

 

Golf

The Golf competition consists of:

  • Regional Team of 4 Men
  • Regional Team of 4 Women

 

This BCS National Championships event tends to start on the Friday monday and finish on the Saturday, however this may vary depending on the number of entries and venues available.  

 

 

 

Hockey

The Hockey competition consists of:

  • Mens College Team
  • Womens College Team

 

This BCS National Championships event tends to start on the Saturday and finish on the Sunday, however this may vary depending on the number of entries and pitches available.  

 

 

 

Netball

The Netball competition consists of:

  • Womens College Team

 

This BCS National Championships event tends to start on the Saturday and finish on the Sunday, however this may vary depending on the number of entries and courts available.  

 

 

 

Rugby

The Rugby 10's competition consists of:

  • Mens College Team
  • Womens Regional Team

 

This BCS National Championships event tends to start on the Saturday and finish on the Sunday, however this may vary depending on the number of entries and pitches available.  

 

 

 

 

Soccer

The Soccer 5-a-side competition consists of:

  • Mens College Team
  • Womens College Team
  • MLD College Team

 

This BCS National Championships event tends to start on the Saturday and finish on the Sunday, however this may vary depending on the number of entries and pitches available.  

 

 

 

Squash

The Squash competition consists of:

  • Mens Singles
  • Womens Singles

 

This BCS National Championships event tends to start on the Friday afternoon and finish on the Sunday however this may vary depending on the number of entries and courts available.  

 

 

 

 

Swimming

The Swimming competition consists of:

  • Regional Team of 8 Men
  • Regional Team of 8 Women

 

The Swimming Gala has the following events:

  • Men's and Women's 200m Individual Medley
  • Men's and Women's 50m Freestyle
  • Men's and Women's  50m Breaststroke
  • Men's and Women's  50m Butterfly
  • Men's and Women's  50m Backstroke
  • Men's and Women's 200m Individual Freestyle
  • Men's and Women's  100m Backstroke
  • Men's and Women's  100m Breaststroke
  • Men's and Women's  100m Butterfly
  • Men's and Women's  100m Freestyle
  • Men's and Women's 4 x 50m Medley Relays
  • Men's and Women's 4 x 50m Freestyle Relays

The Table Tennis competition consists of:

The Tennis competition consists of:

Trampolining

The Trampolining competition consists of:

  • Advanced Regional Team of 6 Men
  • Advanced Regional Team of 6 Women

 

The Trampolining event has the following routines:

COMPULSORY ROUTINE:

  • Full twist jump
  • Straddle jump
  • Seat drop
  • Half twist to seat drop
  • Half twist to feet
  • Pike jump
  • Back drop
  • Half twist to feet
  • Tuck jump
  • Front somersault (T)

    Or
     
  • Back somersault (T)
  • Straddle jump
  • Seat drop
  • Half twist to seat drop
  • Half twist to feet
  • Pike jump
  • Back drop
  • Half twist to feet
  • Tuck jump
  • Full twist jump


VOLUNTARY ROUTINE:  Participants may perform a 10 bounce routine of unlimited tariff (provided they are accompanied by a suitably qualified coach to supervise the routine).
