WELSH COLLEGES FOOTBALL - is the OFFICIAL national team
for FE college based players, run in partnership by British
Colleges Sport and The FAW Trust.
About the Women's Team 
Selected players follow a programme similar to that of other
international teams which will include a structured training camp
followed by several capped international games.
The Welsh Colleges Women's Football team will be playing against
a variety of international opposition, which saw them compete
against Australia in the 2009/10 season. They will also be
competing against the BCS English Women's Team over 2 legs in the
Anglo-Welsh Shield.
The national team is supported by an extensive network of
college-based staff. Professional Club scouts, US University scouts
and Welsh Women's scouts also regularly attend Welsh College's
Football fixtures, providing a great platform for players who
impress to progress further in football.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible all players must be full-time students
within a British Colleges Sport affiliated Further Education
College within Wales. Also all players need to be eligible to play
U'19s football.
