British Colleges Sport reconfirms partnership with CSL 2011
We are delighted to announce that for the second year running,
Careers in Sport + Leisure will take place with British Colleges
Sport as an official Event Partner. The partnership will also see
BCS's leadership and volunteering foundation 'Lead Further' become
the official charity of the event.
As the largest member organisation representing sporting interests
of students and Further Education colleges nationwide, British
Colleges Sport has over 290 affiliated colleges across England,
Scotland and Wales.
With the aim to develop sporting potential in students and
colleges, BCS provides high quality sporting opportunities and
services including competition programmes at local, regional and
national levels across over 15 sports. BCS also acts as the
representative voice for the views of staff at all member colleges
at national forums.
The agreement will see the 290+ affiliated colleges receive
discounted attendance through an exclusive ticketing offer where a
saving of over 50% can be made when member institutions bring more
than ten students to the event. Click here for more information on
booking your tickets.
A host of BCS staff and ambassadors will also attend Careers in
Sport + Leisure in November, all on hand to meet with and provide
advice and information to students and college staff who come along
to CSL across the two days.
Karl Lines, National Football Development
Manager at BCS, is looking forward to the organisation's
involvement again this year in Telford: "We're delighted to continue our
partnership with 100AND10% which will see us once again have a
strong presence at the Careers in Sport + Leisure conference in
December. With 'Lead Further' becoming the official charity, this
further reinforces the joint commitment to supporting young people.
We thoroughly enjoyed the conference last year, it was great to see
so many of our member colleges present and we know the top young
leaders from our national programme who we brought along gained a
lot from the speaker presentations and opportunity to
network."
Tom Davies, commercial manager for CSL
organisers' 100AND10%, is pleased to have the partnership with BCS
reconfirmed: "The work that British
Colleges Sport do for FE students and colleges across the UK is
fantastic, so it's great to have the organisation working in
partnership with the event for another year. CSL provides the
ideal platform for attendees to find out just how BCS can support
them on their individual quests to develop their own progress in
sport".
